Success For Life

It may be that he or she may have poor social skills. This can lead to a lifetime of difficulties in relationships, poor job performance, rejection, depression or even problems with the justice system.
Success of Life is a Social Skills Program designed to help your child or teen gain the skills they need succeed in life. This skills-based program is taught by licensed professionals. It helps your child to learn specific skills that will help him or her to interact with both peers and adults. This program is designed for children and teens who have difficulty with relationships, have add or adhd, are autistic or who have Asperger's.
There are several program modules including:
● Fostering Friendships
● Increasing Self-Confidence
● Anger Management and Conflict Resolution
● Dealing with Bullies
◊ Improve communication, listening and conversational skills
◊ Identify and understand emotions
◊ Build relationships
◊ Manage peer pressure
◊ Overcome shyness and develop self-esteem
◊ Control anger and impulsivity
Each Success For Life group meets for 85 minutes. The modules run from 7 to 10 sessions. Children and teens are grouped with others their own age. Groups sizes run from 5 to 10 kids. Parents are asked to participate in assigned homework activities, provide feedback on their child's progress and follow up in the home.
